Yes, you won't be able to go DX11 and full details, but at DX10 or 9, with high settings, it runs games very smoothly.

Its just depends on what you want from the game.

Also, don't forget that the AMD cards now usually pack a 2GB memory with a very strong GPU inside. So its more suited and works very well.
hm... well i like my detail... and my setting up as well...

with 3 screen with the graphics all the way up.. you feel like you are in the game...

it is kinda the same with the setting down a bit...

but it is a bit of a let down because it doesn't look anywhere near as nice as it did with one screen...

also the ATI card that i have is the 6870...

it is in my rotten apple i am building atm

so you go to nvidia control panel...

you go to Configure "SLI, PhysX, Surround"

and can you see/select "span displays with Surround"?

Max res isn't enough.
They need to be the same refresh rate and same native resolution.

The monitors in his sig aren't the same, so they won't work together currectly if he just added a third monitor.

sounds like a PSU or driver issue...

i am guessing you are running the latest drivers...

also have you oced the card at all yet??

if not.. i would suspect your PSU of ethier being not powerful enough or faulty..

who makes your 750watt psu?

because if it is a good one.. it should be more then enough

3 of the same monitors are the best due to the colour differences and lining up the screens
The monitors don't just need to have the same resolution, they also need to support the same polarities. The best way for nVidia Surround to work is to get 3 identical monitors.
