AMD Overdrive Voltage Help!

Thread Starter
Why is AMD Overdrive constantly upping my CPU Voltage to 1.4V every time i restart or turn on my PC. I put it back down to 1.35V and click apply, next thing you no the temps are dropping of course, but it will never actually save this voltage, are there any other programs i can try? Thanks in advance

I would recommend using BIOS instead of overdrive. My Overdrive shows volt's at 1.35, when they would actually be at 1.5. It just doesn't seem reliable and OCing in BIOS is best, but testing limits with software is alright.

OK thanks i have it set though in the bios to 1.35V but in Overdrive it always says 1.4V i find it weird however when i change the voltage in Overdrive to1.35v there is about a 2C drop, maybe my bios isn't saving Values correctly?

Does it still say 1.35V when you go back to the BIOS?

Since you have an ASUS mobo, try ASUS TurboV EVO.

Yes in the bios it says 1.35V set manually.
Overdrive says 1.4V
TurboV says 1.35V
But its really weird that it will start dropping temps when i change the voltage in Overdrive to 1.35V if its already there
