Yea I definitely haven't been getting that. How did you do that? linux or big adv or is my CPU just not folding like it should?

My GPU gets ~15-16k and the most I have ever got in a day is 23K so like 7k tops out of my CPU, what's up?

Get some overclocking done and you can get the 15k PPD and more if you go through the trouble of doing the bigadv linux trick.
Meh, My i7-950@stock does 13kPPD. i5 should do better.

i7 950 has higher stock clocks than an i7 930.
So yea you would get a little more PPD than me.

Also he is folding a Fermi card on top of that. >.<

Interesting cause i5 2500k are reporting 15-17k PPD with 4ghz but you managed 13k at stock (3.10ghz)

Yeah I'm not sure how, each WU was giving about 3400-3500 points and it was turning them out about every 6 1/2 hours.

Could be that *ahem* that 2400 is clocked at 3.6 GHz when loaded on all cores, 3.8 GHz when on one... on 100 bclk haha

no the 2400 is not clocked at 3.5GHz when all cores are loaded, at stock atleast, because my 2500K clocks at 3.4GHz for all four, so that would put your 2400 at 3.3GHz for all four if I recall correctly.

the cookie is a lie...

the potato on the other hand, well... that can be used to overclock the CPU more efficiently
post #188 of 463
Stock 2400 was 3.1 full load, 3.4 light load. P67 board allowed base multiplier up to 38! Not truly unlocked but partially so.

Tweaking allowed 3.6 full load, 3.8 light load, and since chip is stable with low volts, temps are held in check even with puny stock cooler.

Only last two WUs still in HFM history, but you get the gist of it. The 2400 is Kuu.

Got my rig folding again with the new client, much simpler running SMP & GPU all under 1 tool.

6870's pulling 7.5kppd each and 965 @ 4.1 is chuggin along but not sure regarding ppd yet. Had the same issue with the 6870's until they completed a full wu.

Atleast for the CC i'll have a few more clients running again
