I'm skeptical of the testing methodology. AS5 still requires 200 hours of cure time for effective measurement. I wonder if that was/wasn't done for this review?!

I'll stick to OCZ Freeze and Prolimatech for my systems.

To be fair, he continues adding TIM's according to when he can get them. I'm sure he's buying most of them out of pocket and thus it'll take time. He does a few TIM's every couple weeks to a month. He's also stated that more TIM's are on the way. Regardless, his methods of testing are superior to the ones used in the OP.

IC Diamond is the best in my opinion, just a little tricky to apply.

I am not too fussy which I use as long it is one of the better ones, still have half a tube of MX2 atm. That was a sucky review though...

I hope they tested the CPU from cold, and did the no compound test last...
They should have done idle and load temps for overclocked and stock speeds.

Regardless, once again, AS5 is one of the best. The only one that beat it,
Prolimatech Thermal Compound, only won by 1*C under load. Whoop-dee-doo. And it's only 40 cents cheaper per ounce, at $10.99 for 5 grams. If you can find it, sure... get it. But AS5 has been around longer, and probably works better on overclocked machines. I'm just guessing here.

People have contested that burn-in does next to nothing...

Roundup, huh?

Looks like a roundup of leftover TIM they had around the shop. Several of the top compounds aren't even listed.

Joke review is a joke.
