You wont, Just make sure you stay within the rated volts. best thing for you is probably work with small OC's at first to get the hang of it but you wont mess with your volts at all if you are doing small OC. If you are a fast learner and you can handle messing with your Volts you can OC your CPU until it wont boot anymore at that point you can start raising your volts to what they need to be. But that entails messing with your ram, NB, HT link, and other stuff

Is your ram 1333 mhz or 1600 mhz for starters? 1333 is crucial if you want to overclock your 1055T near 4ghz.

And run Prime95 small fft's test for 10 minutes, so we can get an idea about your temperatures and how much headroom you have. Just download HWmonitor and watch the CPU/Socket temperature, because the core temperatures are off in Thubans.

well sorry to say back again!!

heres the settings ive used:

cpu ratio - x14
amd turbo - disabled
cpu bus freq - 286
pci-e - 100
dram freg - 11400 (also tryd 1525mhz)
cpu/nb freq - auto
ht link - auto
cpu voltage - 1.45v and 1.5v
dram voltage - 1.65v
cpu load line - auto
cpu/nb load line - auto

with these settings i get the system to boot but when i try prime 95 i get blue screen!! (but only get blue screen when running prime 95 other than that seemed fine)

the thing is ive sat for days now trying to get this to work with all diffrent settings ect .. the one thing i was woundering would my cheap power supply stop me from doing a decent overclock aswell

thanks all

Ok, first of all, we need you to go to the Control Panel and fill in your system specs. That'll help us know what your system is capable of.

Couple of things, though...

1) You've tried both 1.45 and 1.5v for 4ghz? And it failed each time?
2) You need to manually set the CPU/NB Frequency and the HT Link. Try to keep the HT Link as close as possible to 2000. This will mean lowering the multiplier. Also, reduce your CPU/NB Frequency as well. For a 4ghz OC, you should aim for a 2800/3000mhz CPU/NB Frequency. You should also increase your CPU/NB Voltage. NOTE: This is NOT the NB Voltage. It is the CPU/NB Voltage.
3) What is your RAM frequency? I can't tell, because you say 11400, so I'm not sure what it really is.
4) Temperatures are gonna be very important. Make sure you watch them like a hawk.
5) Can we get some CPU-Z screenies so we can see what else you're doing?
