how will that one be compared ?
1) There are a few differences, (e.g. dual channel vs. triple channel, etc.). The newer socket (1155) is definitely the route you should be taking. It's far more cost-efficient than the Extreme end of 1366.

2) You read wrong. 2011 is not due out for quite a while-- not this year and certainly not next month.

460/560s = cap at 2-way SLI
470/570s = Tri SLI max
480/580s = 4-way SLI max.
590 = 2 card/4 gpu SLI aka "quad" SLI

As I said before, I highly recommend the 3GB 580s, as they're going to have the power and vram to do whatever you want for quite a while, even if you're looking at 3D Surround.

msi gtx580 lightning is better & cheaper than evga gtx580 hydro copper2,
it overclocks very nicely,msi gtx580 lightning is the best gtx580 out in the market,

I'd get tri-fire and and like 3 of those 27" hanns spree monitors with some eye finity, that'd be rad.

socket 2011 comes out q4 2011. I'll agree with above poster that the best video card is MSI GeForce GTX 580 "Lightning"

With a $4000 budget you can really do something personal with your build...Or use $2000 now and just save the rest

With 4000 dollars, I suggest nothing less than a full-tower with a full water loop, cooling CPU and your GPUs. It will give you more headroom for overclocking, not to mention makes your PC look very nice.

ok you dont really need to get sli 580

I would go in a sli 480 with a 2500k sandi and a asus pro mobo with 8 gig of good ram a ssd of 120gig the best 500 gig HD .
than i would go under water
