2nd monitor playing video at low FPS

Thread Starter
Hey i recently got a U2311H so my old monitor is now running off my DVI 2 port (yellow one on a GTX 480). However it now is playing videos and probably everything at a low frame rate.

I literally have no clue why :s

Cheers for the help smile.gif

Only thing i can think of is in the NVCP, under multi display you have it set to single monitor mode, while its focusing the gpu power towards the main monitor, try making it multi display performance mode if not already.

I have the same problem with video on the secondary monitor, it plays fine in a window but if I make it fullscreen its choppy, doesnt matter if its a low res .avi or HD .mkv , Tried searching the net for suggestions but nothing seems to help.

Also using GTX 480, both monitors on DVI @ 1920x1080, rest of specs in sig.

(multi display mode is selected in NVCP)

Compatibility mode lets me drag video between 1 monitor and the other without corruption but still gets choppy when displaying a lot of info (aka HD video in fullscreen during action scene)

Is the yellow DVI low bandwidth or something ?
