Phenom II x4 820 OC

This is my first 4 core processor and my first OC with a locked multi so I'm just looking for advice.

CPU

Stock:
2.8Ghz
x14 Multi Locked
1.25v (on auto)
200 Bus
41C Load

Initial OC:
3.5Ghz
x14 Multi
1.35v (manual)
250 Bus
RAM,HT,NB all set to stock 1333,2000Mhz,2000Mhz
48C Load

I set this OC at lunch and started Prime95 Blend. It ran fine for 20min till I left for work. The 48C was the temp when I left although I doubt it would get more then 1C worse then that.

When I get home if the Prime95 has not failed and all is stable I want to work on the NB frequency. Based on my 250 bus I can change it to either 2250Mhz or 2500Mhz.

With LLC enabled my voltage in HWMonitor is 1.37v.

48C at load is getting close to the 55C standard threshold so hopefully I can squeeze out the extra NB frequency and maybe even get my chip up to 3.6-3.8Ghz.

All input is welcome.

Actually, you're fine till 62C, unless it gets unstable over 55C. They dont allways do. But go for the NB OC, it's gonna make your system alot faster. I doubt you're going to need more voltage if you want to have it at 2500 mhz.

Really no more voltage?? It is stock 1.2v. 2500Mhz is the max it lets my up the multi to x10. What is the best way to test NB stability. Still Prime95?

Well it might, but I doubt it, as 2500 isnt that much. It's still enough for a noticeable speed increase though. Prime95 is the way to go, just small FFT's test for NB stability I believe.

It wont hurt to increase it by a little bit though, as CPU-NB voltage doesnt seem to increase heat as much as Vcore does.
