Thanks guys I think I am going to go for crossfire because I think the advantages out way the disadvantages quite a bit.

Also, without starting another thread, my CPU temps have been reduced quite a lot. Is it possible that it could be that I have the full 8 pins plugged in instead of the 4 for the CPU power? My old power supply was a be quiet 530w and I think that is was maxing out because the CPU as overclocked and the graphics card was overclocked. Could this be an explanation?

You will be bottle necked little if any. I put my quad sli in my friends 980x and saw a 4fps avg difference between it and my 965 go for it!
