nobody cares about customising and overclocking phones dude.

That doesn't really have any relation to what hardware should go into the phone. If what you said was true, they wouldn't have put a dual-core chip (the A5) in the iPad 2. iOS games are going to constantly be increasing in detail and mobile apps are expanding in computational requirements yearly. The iPhone 5 will be dual core as they already have the A5 ready. It was in the iPad 2 and there's no reason why it won't be included.

Cool story bro? You're one person. So what?
I'm a consumer. If my opinion doesn't matter, no one else's does. LTE is a major step forward for mobile data and I would hope that Apple's partnership with Verizon for the iPhone 4 will carry over into an LTE iPhone 5.

I guess that you've never heard of XDA-developers or CyanogenMod. Plenty of people, like me, are really into phone customization/hacking.

This is lies.

I overclock and flash different ROMS on my Evo for a different look, while still maintaining similar functionality. There is an ENTIRE FORUM devoted just to this! (xda)

I also own an iPhone 4 (work phone). I can say, it's battery life is amazing! Screen is good and Web Browsing is super smooth! (Before I found Firefox on Evo, I would use it for web browsing.)

I use my Evo more though...just because I prefer Android. Honestly, I can't knock the iPhone for anything either. I haven't had a SINGLE problem with it...Super smooth, Animations are amazing, camera is better than that on the Evo. Netflix support. Only thing it doesn't have is built in Native support for Gmail. (I want to sync my gmail contacts...requires an app.) Other than that...amazing phone. AT&T's network is bleh.

no, what i really mean is that nobody really cares about customizing and overclocking phones. i've only met like 0 people who customize their phones. that's even less than the meager amount of people i know who customize and/or overclock their pc's. OCN doesn't count because they are not people and its on the internet .

so yea, basically i never heard of you guys

That's correct, a majority of people don't care. I've only met a FEW people who overclock their pc's. However most of my gaming friends own Droids/evo's. Each of them have it rooted and modded. Shortly after I meet someone who I notice has an android device, I educate them a bit on what rooting can accomplish and what it allows you to do, they ask if I can assist them in rooting their phones. (Which I show them the differences in ROM's, and how to flash them and things like that.) There are new features you can take advantage of with root.

People can't use features they don't know about. And of course, some people just don't care.

You can use the Google Sync exchange service to sync contacts real-time. If I ever create a new contact, it's instantly synced with my Gmail account, which I have a separate account just for my contacts.

There are plenty of places that explain how to set up the Google Sync exchange account, but most don't add the detail that you need to change your "Default Account" for contacts in settings to that exchange account, or new contacts won't sync.

I don't know a single person who overclocks their PCs and/or buys the latest and greatest GPUs/CPUs, yet there is still a very sizable amount of people out there who do build PCs and are involved in the overclocking scene.

I know far more people running CyanogenMod on Android phones than people who build their own PCs.
