Could run on a 400W. Cancel the order and save some more dough on a high quality lower-wattage unit.

I had the same thing happened to me, naively. Luckily, both piles of junk for psu didn't take out any of my components. Bought a quality psu and never have gone cheap since then.

Yeah theres only a couple things I dislike about newegg...One, being tax in CA which obviously isnt their fault but it sucks for me. Two, if you dont cancel an order within say the first 10-15min of it being placed you are SOL. you cant even call in and have the reps cancel it cause they run everything like an assembly line. And say you just want to return for a refund, well how does that Restocking Fee taste like!?!? All in all with newegg you just have to learn to take your time with purchases and do your research! The pros far exceed the cons!

What would be a good PSU for that system? Is it available at the egg?

Something like the Antec NeoECO 400C, which is what I usually recommend for a 400W as best bang for the buck. The Earthwatts EA380D Green is a good value right now though. Rosewill RG-430 is a good budget option. The Corsair CX430 is decent, but is more of a 380W.

The SeaSonic X400 is the best 400W, but costs more than the TX750.

Phaedrus, you do love that NeoECO 400.

This, I really have to hand it to Seasonic on the X series, running my rig on the 650W version, it's a very solid piece of kit, and SO quiet!
