now do that..

try tweaking up your FSB..keep your HT link 2000mhz etc etc etc...it all goes by your book..

loosen up the timings and try to set it to 1333mhz..are those temps core temps or the CPU temp??
If you read my previous replies, iv done everything that youve already mentioned - thanx for trying though lol. Temps are Core Temps, using Core Temp and also PC Probe II and Everest Ultimate

have you checked for the CPU temp as well??those chips have a max temp of 62c AFAIK..and reaching those temps will surely give you an instant reboot..i've been there before with my 940 and hell yeah its hard to keep temps low to get high clocks at a good voltage..

do you have LLC on your motherboard??it's a compensation for Vdrooping..what are your exact BIOS settings..kindly post here in a form of template so we can help you tweak options out..

Thanx for the reply, yeh my cpu temp hits 46 degrees and not over under load and whilst stress testing. Hitting 4ghz was easy but trying to hit 4.2 - 4.4 is a utter nightmare. If its ok by you, il post my bios screen shots up tomorrow as iv been up all night due to my mum not being well and since she's awake now im gona try to get in a couple of hours of kip. I do however appreciate your help.

You would have to get a really lucky chip to hit anything over 4.2GHz for a 24/7 OC.

This is certainly a strange case.

It sounds a lot like my wall - with the right cooling [that my H50 can't provide anymore] I can go to 3840 MHz or so stable at 1.5v. However even with FRIGID air and whatnot, it will never boot at 4 GHz, and it will fail every stress test at 3860 MHz no matter what voltage I throw at it, even if the CPU temp stays under 55C.

I hate to break it to ya but the C2s are junk overclockers

I've got my chip running at 4.3GHz @ 1.58v for folding. Don't care about the super high volts, I have a 2600k incoming
