Bought a HP 2711x, good buy or mistake?

Thread Starter
I decided to upgrade to a 27" monitor for my rig. I was at Frys and found the HP 2711x. It seems to have great colors, it has clear text, and seems to do well in games.

However, I usually do a lot more research before making a purchase for my computer. Have I got a winner, or should I take it back in a hurry!

I do like the monitor so far, but I dont want to find out 3 weeks from now that there was a much better option.

So in short, Id like to have some thoughts from the community on this. Please let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Johnnyfive

It's a TN panel monitor, so it's OK for gaming and general video use. There are much better options, but most of them are much more expensive like the Dell U2711 (an IPS monitor).

Yeah, I should have mentioned I cannot really afford the Dell. Im looking for similarly priced options.

Now if someone wants to sell me their dell for the same price....
