Hey OCN! so I think its time for me to post my new build. Haven't really come up with a good project name lol you'll see why i named it claw in a moment. So my current build well...its just time to change..and change is good! =D plus Ive got way to much money atm and i need to spend it hehe >=) So after hours of planning and making a wish list along with some possible case mods i finally came up with my new system.

Wish list
CPU: x6 1090T

Motherboard: Biostar TA890FXE

Ram: 8GB (2 x 4gb) G.Skill Rip-jaws 1600 8-8-8-24 1.5v (bought on sale! Thanks turdferguson for the newegg deal

Moniter: Acer 24in GD235hz (bought)

3D glasses: Nvidia Vision (bought)

CPU cooler:Noctua NH-D14

Case: CM 690 II Advance Nvidia Edition (bought)

Case lighting: NXTZ Green 2m LED kit.

HDD: 60gb OCZ SSD (maybe if i have money left over)

Ill be filling in the gaps with my old system. My gtx570, cd drive, 1TB HDD

Hopefully i will be able to overclock my 1090T to 4.0ghz and then my GPU wont be bottlenecked like it is with my current cpu and current resolution(1920 x 1080) plus 3d on

Pictures!!

I LOVE!!!! this monitor sooo much! i just got it two days ago and im still orgasming over how nice it is lol

I will post pics as time passes and i get more of my products.

Case Mods
I plan on modding the case depending if its possible.
I want to make the claw window color orange to match my new monitor. I'm thinking it will look pretty sick. I might mod the rest of the green stuff to orange too and get a orange led kit instead of the green.

Green:

VS

Orange:

keep posted as the weeks go by and I slowly buy everything. =) cant wait!

edit: just got a email Nvidia will shipped my case tomorrow so by next week i should have it and i can finish up my soildwork drawing of it lol and maybe do some modding. Its kinda hard to draw something when i don't really have good pics or measurements besides the L x W x H

just ordered my D-14 cooler and my new motherboard! =) im getting closer to starting the project. Case comes Monday! The other parts come Wednesday-ish i hope lol. I'm thinking of buying a ssd and some case fans but im sorta undecided about ssd's. Ive heard some bad things like ssd dont last long, and they die really fast, or get slower. If i do look past that and plan on buying one i plan on putting my OS on it and Arma 2 as well. So a 80gb i was thinking would if that right? let me know your opinion. Oh and fans, fans, fans, what are some good quite 10-29b fan that pushes a lot of air? looking for 140mm and 120mm ones. 30+db is pushing it. I hate loud fans unless im gaming. Makes sense if a fan is loud when your gaming since all that heat in there needs to go somewhere. My GTX 570 fan is loud when temps are over 70+ sometimes. Sounds like a race car in my case about to speed off lol.
