Thread Starter
i have 2x4gb of CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9 ,there timings are 9-9-9-24 but there read at 9-9-9-24 @ 1333 , once i switch the ratio to 4:1 my timing change to 9-11-11-29, after i overclock to 9-9-9-24 @ 1600 (they're rated speed) i get random freezes were i'm force to hard reboot, i tried running them at 1.55v but my system kept freezing. anyone here got these to successfully run these at 9-9-9-24 @1600 with this board ? if so what setting did you use?
this is my first attempt at overclocking ram but i know i'm not the only person with this issue: http://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?to...3289;topicseen

here's a link to the corsair vengeance set i'm using:

That might be it; I wouldn't be sure because I don't own that mobo, but do try updating it!

definitely the problem , i reverted to ver. 1.7, overclock my ram again and my systems been stable for a week. i've tried 1.9 but there was no improvement, which suck because ver 1.9 is the bios that offer compatibility with bulldozer.
case solved atm , but if anyone can figure out how to OC with bios ver 1.8/1.9
please post your solution. +rep for the posts

You could contact MSI about it and let them know of the issue so they can release a second AM3+ compatible BIOS with a fix
