If I overclock my NB frequency to 2800 mhz would I also have to overclock my dram speeds? They're running at 1066 mhz right now. And would I also have to raise the dram voltage, its at 1.5V right now.

Hi, try cpu ratio x20. If it dosent boot, add (in small increments) voltage to the cpu voltage but do not go over 1.55v AND make sure you have a really good cooler not the standard amd cooler. Also CPU/NB voltage to 1.25v and nothing over 1.35v (if everything is stable at 1.25v, drop your voltage down alittle and test again until it bsod or freezes etc).
Looking at your memory set your timings to 9-9-9-24 2N(or 2T) at 1.5v and your ram speed to 1333mhz.

Hope this helps and if you need any more advice im more than happy to help.
How do I change my timings on my memory?

And how does changing it to 2N or 2T change anything?

Set your cpu-nb to 2800 @ 1.3v and see if it boots. if so run p95 again.

i got it stable at 2600, would bumping it up to 2800 make a big difference?

I am very new to overclockin and I was wondering if someone could help me reach the 4.0-4.2 ghz range.

Here are my current settings:

What are settings should I be looking at?

And I have these sticks of ram:

Should I overclock the ram also? and how? and to what clock speeds?
I have basically the same setup as you and here is what I've did to hit 4GHz.

Multi set to 16 and FSB set to 250. HT set to 2500. Ram set to 1667 with stock timings.

I kept all the voltages set to Auto. It gets up to around 1.45 with LLC under load.

Technically my CPU is an unlocked X2 555, so if I can hit 4GHz stable I'm pretty sure you can also with your setup.

set HT to 2000 as it only gives instability any higher than stock.

Where does 1.35 max on the cpu/nb voltage come from? They can go to same as CPU on the 955's, just have to watch the heat

The more you can squeeze from the cpu/nb the better even sacrificing the cpu oc...

Had a Phenom II 965 at 4 GHz with 206 MHz FSB, 19.5x, and a voltage kick. So you may need to start cranking your FSB now, or at least try raising the voltage given to the CPU.

Disclaimer: Yes, I know AMD does not have an "FSB" anymore, but many motherboards still term it as such in the BIOS. For the nitpickers, read it as "reference clock".
