[CVG]Burnout Crash: First details revealed

Who'd have guessed it? It turns out Burnout Crash is all about crashing rather than racing.

But, shedding more light on the still unannounced title, the ratings board has told Joystiq it's a arcade game that's all about wrecking cars.

Apparently, Burnout Crash is "an action arcade style game set in the fictional world of Crash City," reads the board's synopsis. "The aim of the game is to cause as much damage as possible to traffic and buildings by crashing a car into them."

They should go back to how it was before with Burnout 3 and revenge. Those were the best in the series I think.

I did like Burnout 3 and revenge but Burnout 2 with split screens was my favorite, one things guaranteed, heart palpitations.

Not think, know.

Except the part where you have to beat the whole game to unlock some things..

Me and my younger cousins played the BO3 demo from NFS:U2 and it was awesome.. I picked up the game and you can only apparently play until 10 takeouts or something like that in MP with other people. Waste of money unless someone knows what I can do to fix this problem

Revenge was awesome (but then again they all were except Point of Impact), and when I first fired up Paradise, I wasn't fond of the openworld system either, but after getting adjusted to it and finding out how well implemented the freeroam was I'd have a seriously hard time going back to linear.

IMO, the Burnout series has consistently improved with every release (again, bar Point of Impact) and I can only assume/hope this will continue.
I do hope it's not exclusively crashing, though. I wasn't fond of the Paradise-style crash minigame...

Burnout 3 was fun. I loved to go off ramps and see how many cars I could destroy at an intersection.
