260 x 15 = 3900, 3.9GHz . . .

I'm confused now, isn't that too much?

How do I lower the multiplier and to what.
I didn't think about the CPU's multiplier.

Drop down to 250 and if your RAM speed is above 1333mhz drop the multiplier down from 4.xx to the lowest.

Keep CPU voltage the same.

3.75GHz CPU!

Make sure HT Link is around 2000 MHz
I'm lost, wouldn't that give me 3900MHz, 260 x 15 and my multipler for cpu is @ 15 and I don't see how to change this in my bios, I could on my old crappy micro atx not working arsorck board.

Jeez that's a bit high isn't it? Wouldn't I need to bump the vcore up a lot, how can I keep it at stock without unsuitability ? I'm an uber noob.

Hrmmmmm ok, where can I find the ram timings I need (4.xx)

You have an ASRock board? I believe ASRock and MSI are the worst boards to overclock on due to cheap VRMs.

I'm using an ASUS m4A79XTD atm, my old arsrock broke as did my msi and ECS, lol, I never oced on the msi or ecs, the arsrock one sucked anyway.

Ok, so should I bump voltage up, I am gonna be stable @ 1.4V 3.7GHz?
