Weird, did 250MHz and it just . . . BSOD'd.

My temps were at 30c at 3.7GHz, it was fine. I'm using water cooling anyways.

I dunno what happened, change mem freq to the lowest and it's working!

HTT at 2000MHz
CPU at 36000 MHZ
you board also has LLC-which adjust the CPUv-set it to around 33% if you can
In my experience 3.6Ghz is about the max for these chips. I decided I would try for 3.75 but it took tons of voltage. I have an expensive but crappy Nvidia NB so my OC's may not be as good as others, but to get to 3.6 on this chip I would suspect your cpu voltage would have to be 1.5-1.53. What Redwoodz said is about right. I would leave the LLC alone, most likely even at 2% the thing will act funky when booting, meaning the lights will come on but no system beep until you hit the reset button or power cycle it.

However, LLC would be really handy if you notice one core time and time again failing first in prime, you could increase voltage to that one core to see if that will bring over all stability, but adjust all cores evenly with llc is pretty useless, because you can just change CPU voltage to do the same even spread adjustments.

My system benefits from keeping NB multiplier +1 from the closest one to 2000. I dont know why but just something to try.

I am utterly confused. . .

I did 3.3GHz with auto OC and it's stable!

3.4 wasn't . . .

ram is at 738MHz though :/ I can't change the ram time without stability issue. dahhh

Prime 95 slaughtered me @ 3.4GHz but it ran longer than 3.5,3.6 and 3.7, 3.8 wouldn't even start up into windows.

Dude-you have to do one thing at a time, which is why I directed you to lower your RAM all the way down, and overvolt it.You will never know what is causing your CPU overclock to fail.Once you get your system stable at the desired range at 3.6GHz,then you go back and find the best RAM timings. It can vary greatly so there is no way else to do it.Start with a goal of 1500-1600MHz and loose timings, maybe 9-9-9-27 at 1.65v.Do not screw with the RAM untill your CPU overclock stable. You have to have extra voltage on the IMC also-you will never be stable without it.
