So I got an xfx 850w black edition psu as all the reviews say its an excellent supply but both in windows through software and in my bios my 3.3v is on 3.47 which is basically hitting the spec limit

Is my supply ok?

Software-based voltage monitoring is completely unreliable. Whatever Windows or your BIOS tells you, don't pay attention to it. If you want to know your voltages, use a digital multimeter.

I wouldn't believe the BIOS/software voltage readings. Reviews indicate that this is an excellent PSU.

That's what I thought, I will try my voltage meters on it in the morning and see what they read
