Ok so im changing over to a antec 1200 case today and i have a question regarding which psu I use. I just got a brand new ocz fatal1ty 750w gaming series psu and im not sure if it's gonna be enough. Currently running i7-950 OC @3.6, 12gb gskill ddr3 1600 1.5v, SB xfi titanium, asus rampage III formula, 2x gtx 470 super OC, 2x intel 80gb ssd, 2x 500gb barracudas. also a single bd-r drive and fan controller,

I like this psu as it has the 4 independent 12v rails. i think it will be enough power but wanna be sure.. here it is if u wanna take a look:

Thanks in advance

IT will be fine, but you only have one GTX 470 right now it appears.

Should be fine, yes. If you just got it brand new, it wasn't the best purchase you could have made as far as 750W units go, but it's an alright unit.

Pushing it, but it should work

You be easy, I'm fine on a 850w with OC on CPU + GPUs on sig rig. I have 8 120mm fans and 3 HDD in raid 5, 2 SSD in 0, and 1 Agility 2 while powering my little water pump

(Still don't know why this meh TR2 is still alive )

Theoretically it should be OK. It has a nice 80+ bronze rating and a claimed 85% efficiency at load, which is pretty good. I'm not sure off-hand what a GTX460 draws for power but I can run an SLI of GTX260's plus an OC'd i7 920 off an Antec TP new 750w, if that helps.

Damn those are some quick replies... and yes 1 470 for now the other identical is on the way. I have a xion 1000w 1 month old i can use as well.. Would it be less system stress?

Just as an fyi - multi-rail doesn't mean better or more suited for a certain application. Check out this great guide here

How much did you pay for that? There is a great deal on the Seasonic X 750 at the egg right now if you can still return your OCZ one

Probably a gtx260 draws less than a 470, but still a SLI of them should be kept up well by a good 750W psu. My system which can be compared to yours, but with a single card, draws something like 350w under load (overclocked, measured at the wall). Even adding 150W for a second gtx470, you would be in the 500~550w range which is 65-70% load of a 750W psu, if it's a good one it should handle without any issues.
