I like all games, from SC2 to Cry 2 to DA:0, etc...

Thought of eyefinity, but the bezels in your FOV just seems
unattractive to me.

I went from 19" to 24" and loved it,
maybe I should go to a bigger monitor size?

Pros/Cons of going either way? Will my GPU still support everything
at Ultra settings?

Thnx guys

Depends. You couuuld get like a large TV and also use it as your media center maybe? Nice 46"ish TV for movies and stuff, but also for your computer?

I have a 50" flatscreen in my living room,
but I've designated my office as my gaming room.

I don't really want to clutter up my living room with a keyboard and cables
and a headset and crap

For gaming, 30" is the biggest I would ever go. You get to sit just far enough away to make it comfortable. I have gamed on 32", 36" and 42" screens and they are just too big for my liking. I think that 30" is the sweet spot. At least that is what I am aiming to get for my next monitor.

Just remember that when going anything over 24", the price begins to jump up pretty quickly.

Good luck.

EyeFinity all the way. I have had a larger monitor 30" and bigger and all that does is make everything larger... doesnt help with seeing anything more than what you can see on a single 24".

[edit]Trust me when I say, the bezels are not seen. A few seconds into using the set up, your eyes dont notice them and the brain 'fills' this area in with the information your taking in. Its like driving a car... you dont stare at the windshield pillars do you?

I agree. I personally see no point in just stretching out everything on the screen. I would personally want the size because I'm seeing more of the gaming environment, not the same amount of environment blown up.

Just my opinion.

There are some good deals on 27in monitors on newegg. I got mine for 300 bux and I absolutely love it! I went from a 32in TV as my monitor and I could not be happier with my new 27in. Its much clearer and its really freaking huge for a monitor lol

Yes, and for me having things blown up or larger than what they were meant to be, made me have headaches. It was just not comfortable playing games with things so large. Once I got my EyeFinity set up going, I was amazed at how much more enjoyable and immersive the game play is. I would have trouble going back to a single monitor at this point.

Your brain removes the bezels for you once you are playing... You don't even notice.
