Which Board İs Better ?? - Page 2

The ud5 doesn't come with all the little extra's that asus board's have, like the q connectors and padded black back plate, not to mention it is overpriced, msi motherboards are still below average at a technical standpoint, so really that narrow's it down to the two asus boards. Between those, I would go with the deluxe, because it offers more power phases and much better features for the average user. Also, the deluxe has 7 usable expansion slots and the sabertooth only has 6.

Based on your considerations, I would go for either MSI GD80 or Gigabyte UD5. Can't say much about ASUS...I'm mainly a MSI/Gigabyte playa I have not owned an ASUS mobo since the P45 days.
Maybe 1 day I'll try an ASUS mobo again

I love my GD65. Its been solid and the support from MSI has been great. I've owned Gigabyte boards in the past and they have been solid too. Word of advice, G-Skill Ripjaws and the MSI P67 boards dont often play nice with each other.

No prob...Take some time & check out the following...

Gigabyte P67-UD5 in action: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=264312

MSI P67A GD80 in action: http://www.benchtec.co.uk/forums/thr...EVIEW-(LGA1155)
(1 of the reasons why I bought the GD80)

You can also Google site reviews for these mobos, as well for the ASUS mobos you are considering.

There's a difference based on individual needs (or desire). More onboard 2.0 USB headers than the GD55/65, extra pci-e slot, 2 USB 3.0 headers (vs 1 on the GD55/65), 6-pin connector for more power to the GPUs, and 12 phases At the end of the day the GD55/65/80 are excellent OC'ing mobos.

Nice mobo for the price...I just can't accept the pci-e slot layout on the mobo. I like the 1st pci-e slot to be 1 slot further from the cpu socket...but that's my hang-up
