Which Board İs Better ?? - Page 3

My vote is with Gigabyte. I havnt used any of these newer boards but with the previous platforms MSI and ASUS had absurdly high failure rates. GA might not be as "fancyshmancy" but honestly who gives a **** if the competition catches fire?

I'm in the same boat as you and I 'm leaning towards buying an asus revolution myself.

In my extremely honest opinion you should rather wait two extra weeks than to buy something now because its in. I have ONCE tried saving cash on buying a mobo I didnt really believe in, well twice actually, but I will NEVER do that again.

Its the brains of the operation. Make sure you got the right brain.

These are not the only site reviews for these mobos. You can Google more. All great mobos Mystery question is, which 1 is good for you?

Remember that you can Google more site reviews instead of just going by the reviews I had sited. The internet is our friend If those mobos appear to be the better choice, then you should know what you're looking for. Here's something else you can check out... http://www.overclock.net/intel-mothe...therboard.html

Popular vote will always go to ASUS & Gigabyte because that's how it has been for quite some time. People diss MSI & Biostar for whatever reason they can think of but there are many who own these mobos and never had problems. At the end of the day, it simply comes down to preference with these P67 mobos unless you're a fanboi of a particular manufacturer

Agreed. All these boards are good options. No one is going to answer your question as to which is "best," because that opinion is specific to you, and all these boards are extremely close in terms of feature sets.

I'd look closely at the feature sets and see which you prefer best. Ultimately, you can't go wrong.

The UD5 has a clear CMOS button and a power on button right on the board, which are two features I regret not having on my UD4. ASUS deluxe has more SATA 6 ports, but I can barely take advantage of 1. And I happen to prefer GB's BIOS to ASUS' UEFI BIOS. So the choice was easily the UD4 because of price and feature set.

So what do YOU need out of a board? And that's your answer.

None of these have 6 dimm slots. T_T. Also, are all these motherboards LGA 1156?

I'm not trying to troll, but this MSI board seemed "meh" to me.

The Gigabyte's PCI arrangement does not allow for a sound card.

Not sure about the thermal armor of the ASUS P67 "Sabertooth". I'd go find official and customer reviews before making a choice about buying it.

The Asus P8P67 Deluxe seems like a good board. There's three slots between the two
PCI-e slots. The PCI slot for sound cards is not blocked by a PCI-e port or a heat sink.

Personally, I'd choose the ASUS P8P67.
