How am I doing?

(Please check my sig for my gear)

My current overclock:

CPU: 4123 Mhz (31x133)
RAM: 1333 Mhz (10x133) 6-6-5-15-1t

Vcore: 1.275
QPI/VTT/DRAM: 1.2
DRAM: 1.64

Now I am 12 hours stable at these settings in both Prime95 and memtest86+.

1. How are the voltages etc. that I have above? Anything too high/low?

2. I have not run Prime95 for 12 hours with the memory timings @ the above settings, only the default 9-9-9-24-1t. Now memtest86+ says that I am stable with 6-6-5-15-1t but should I run Prime95 for another 12 hours to check if 6-6-5-15-1t is ok too?

3. If I want 1600 Mhz (12x133) RAM I don't seem to be able to do it. Even if I up Vcore to 1.325 I can only run Prime95 for 5 minutes before each of the cores start to report failures.

Temps are absolutely amazing too, so there is nothing overheating.

Thank you, and don't forget to vote conservative next month .

How come your FSB is so low?

Ditto - if your ram is rated at 1600, this is probably your problem.

I wanted to leave it that low to simplify things for me cos' I did have 200 bclk and I just could not for the life of me get a stable CPU overclock. This is by no means a permanent setting, just a stepping stone for me to go from. Do you think that is what is causing my RAM overclock instability? If so, do you recommend a 160 bclk for 10x160.

What would happen at 200? I had to bump my QPI after 3.8, so your problem might not be vcore (I guess unless you keep getting an 0101 or something)

@ 200 just couldn't stablize my CPU multiplier no matter what. But I don't think that I really bumped my QPI enough so I'm gonna try that after. @ 200 my memory was NEVER a problem when I had it @ 1600 .

"stabilize" your CPU multiplier? I don't understand...are you not entering in your own multiplier into the bios?

Oh I am entering it into the bios but what I mean is whenever I went from say 3.8 to 4.0 Ghz, I could not get Prime95 to stop crashing after a while, no matter how high I set Vcore.
