Why not? I do.

Plasma > LCD TVs for gaming though. Well in my book plasma > LCD TVs for everything, but that's just me

To be fair I game 95% of the time on my 25" hunk of junk monitor, mostly because I'm lazy and haven't rigged an easy way to use the KBM and face the TV.

It's sharp. At first I had it connected via RGB and it was but there was a 1.5" black bar on the left side of the screen. I connected the tv via DVI-HDMI yesterday and it didn't look as good, but after some tweaking it looked so much better. Text looks as sharp as it did on my old Samsung monitor, but so far I'm happy with it.

I'd been doing research for a while, and the best monitor/TV was the LG LD450, but that is the 2010 model. I was fortunate enough to find the LK450 at my local Best Buy which is the 2011 model. VA panel has a D in the serial code, and the IPS panel has Y in the serial code. They only had two left, and one of them was the IPS panel.
