As of today Global Agenda has gone free to play.

About the Game

2155. From the ashes of the devastating Third Great War rose the Commonwealth, an oppressive world government determined to control the entire planet. The few remaining independent factions retaliate the only way they can, with elite teams of special operatives trained in advanced warfare tactics and equipped with high-tech weaponry. The future of humanity is their battleground, where knowledge is power, technology is a race, and everyone has a Global Agenda.

Create your agent - Create, customize, and develop multiple agent characters, complementing your FPS skills with accessible RPG-style progression. Unlock weaponry and cutting edge devices including jetpacks, grenade launchers, mines, deployable turrets, stealth suits, holographic decoys, robotic droids and HUNDREDS of others.
Co-Op with friends online - Four players share the same online mission experience - working as a team, communicating via built-in text and voice chat, infiltrating facilities, defeating end bosses, and earning technology upgrades.
Compete in fast-paced, multiplayer matches - Teamwork and tactics are paramount within objective-based game types designed from the ground up to support intense and balanced player vs. player combat.
Conquer persistent territory - You and your agency compete against other agencies for control of limited land resources and special rewards.

Just to add to this here is a quote from the official FAQ regarding users who already have a Global Agenda account.

Quote:
Q: I already purchased Global Agenda? How does my experience change?

A: If you previously purchased Global Agenda, we very much appreciate your support and we will automatically upgrade you to Elite Agent status. You will not be charged any additional fee and your experience within the game remains basically unchanged. Your characters progress, and earn currency and loot at the same rate they did before. You continue to have access to the same content, items, and missions as before. And purchasing a Booster remains an option as it was before.

Q: I have a previous Global Agenda account but have not been active. Do I still have access to the game and my characters?

A: Yes. Your account is still enabled and your characters are still available within Global Agenda: Free Agent. You can come back at any time to experience the game and see the new content and features. If you were a Trial player, you now have Free Agent status. You can continue to level your characters with no payment required and now without a level limit on free play. If you were a former purchaser of Global Agenda you will be automatically upgraded to Elite Agent status. No additional payment is required.
You can read more information from the FAQ in the below link.

You can add me in game if you wish. I play as Medic. IGN: Lifeshield.

Nope. Would cause a hell storm if they did.

Can't help there I'm only level 14 myself. Kind of hard playing solo as a Medic (at least when you have no idea of what you're doing anyway haha). Great healing but very poor damage output at low levels.

I'm hoping this free to play method brings a nice influx of new players in though, will give The Desert some more life for completing quests etc. Most of the more experienced guys I've come across have that done it all before cant be bothered to help attitude (though some will at least point you in the right direction).

Haha, I know what I'm doing in that respect, hehe. It's more the class building and crafting etc that burns my head. I spend ages scouring the forums over stuff and still end up not knowing what exactly I want to do with my Medic.

I have no clue what I'm doing in the PvP though I did well in one game I played (while using a control pad haha).

Feel free to add me ingame, I'll take you up on that offer as it's always more fun to kill stuff with other people.
