How frequently do you re-install windows 7? - Page 4

I am on my original install from when it was released, and the same install has been through 6 different motherboards, 8 graphics cards, 7 processors, been cloned twice and went through a RAID 1 failure.

I overhaul my gear on a ridiculous cycle - usually on a whim. Since this usually ends up in my needing to re-activate windows I just go ahead and fresh install anyways

Depends on which rig.

Sig rig was just built, probably wont reinstall for a few years and on like my HTPC, I do quite frequently.

I reinstalled it yesterday!

But that was because my RAID 0 was crap and I wanted to get rid of it.

But yeah. I reinstall it whenever my computer gets loaded with rubbish and is real sluggish.

Or I get some bad ass virus.

i have installed it once in 2 years ? i look after my OS always clean up and dont leave unecisary crap laying around and it helps to have a clean smooth system .. theres no need to reinstall windows 100 times only if something is corrupt or activation issues .

Hopefully i wont have to reinstall until windows 8 .
