Are there any overclocks in place? In addition, are the ram timings and voltage set manually as per their specifications? Have you tried playing for a little then checking GPU and CPU temps after 10 mins of playing? Also, does the game become unresponsive or freeze very slightly before ultimately crashing? If so, the game could be written on some bad sectors on the Hard Drive.

I know this is a lot of stuff to check, but without a BSOD code you're looking at a lot of possibilities.

Yes. I left it running for around an hour and some change. No issues. I even ran 3dmark vantage, once again, no issues.

No overclock and no modifications in place. Everything as is. I checked the temps after playing, nothing radical. I even installed a couple of fans after the fact, nope, the problem continues. The game runs smooth, then choppy, freeze, goes to black, then finally restarts.

Sounds like a heat problem to me !!

Measure the temps when playing,
As for the Crysis its not that power hungry as its a DX9 game,

DX10 and DX11 games will draw more power for the extra computational processing needed to render PhysX and extra Graphical Sweetness,

Also have you tried just using One stick of RAM,
Try reseting the system bios and then have a go,
