the wired, I didn't check would be 100mbps standard, or 1gbps (1000mbps), but only if your network card on pc (wired) and the router specs also mentioned 1gbps / 1000mbps somewhere on it.

Obviously which one is best (for the money you pay) is kind of dependent on your individual needs. I got a Linksys WMP600N PCI network adapter, that is dual band. I do a lot of things online where any hiccup would be noticable (downloading/uploading/Gaming). I havent had any problems with it, apart from that one time my cat chewed on the antenna's and somehow managed to wiggle the card loose from the motherboard (lol).
