Very strange G15 Problem

Thread Starter
So far I have observed the following.

While playing FFXIV and CC3, if i press the "A" button, things start to go nuts. In FFXIV, my char will keep moving to the left, like i'm holding down the A button. However, I can pull up the chat log, and type with the letter A just fine.

In CC3, if I press A during the menu screens, my menus go nuts! It's like I'm using the mouse scroll wheel super fast. Map selection is impossible.

I can not get it to act up while typing or while I'm not in full screen. I can minimize CC3, open up Wordpad and type just fine.

Please HALP!

If it's brand new, return it. I had my Black Widow freak out like that. Got a new one, no problems.

Had it for about 6 months now, and got it at Best Buy

Just tried BC2. The A button doesn't work at all. Lucky for me I hate the WASD crap. It won't let me bind A to any action.

Yes.

I have installed/uninstalled the drivers/software countless times. I really have no idea what is going on here....

EDIT: This really gets under my skin. These boards are great but the software is total garbage. Some times the screens lock up and I have to restart the computer to make them work again.

Bump. Still having issues. I have the A problem every time i try to run FFXIV. No problems in portal 2 and some times in BC2 & CC3. I have the best luck out of the legacy drivers. Any more ideas?

I have to agree with Logitec. Logitec game pannel software is solid on my PC. When I did go unstable is was my PC's fault, not Logitec's. That being said.

My problem was the HID driver's. No clue what the problem was, but the HID driver's where mucking up my keyboard somthing ferice, I called logitec, they walked me though all kinds of crap and said call microsoft. I got pissed, and investigated myself. What worked for me was to uninstall the logitec software, all of it. setpoint/game panel stuff, then go and delete it's folder. Uninstall/Install new HID drivers, go to Logitec.com and DL the game pannel software, dont use their CD, install it on the same drive as your OS...for some reason when I installed the software on a diff HDD than the OS HDD problems where cause'd aswell. I hope this helps. If it dosnt I strongly suggest you head over to the Logitec fourms, there are some guys in there that just plain rock! worth making a post about it over there!
