Need info on this 1155 socket motherboard

Hey there folks i am considering buying a INTEL DP67BG EXTREME off someone for real cheap anyway is this a good overclocking board and are intel boards decent in general i have never used one so i have no idea. I am not sure if this is a B3 Revision the seller says it was one of the first b3 revision boards but i cant find anything that says it is,also would this board be compatible with my kingston hyperx 2000mhz memory? i am kind of new to computers and ram compatibility is confusing for me as no motherboard i have seen shows 2000 mhz ram as being compatible but everyone tells me the ram i have should work with most sandy bridge boards. Anyway thanks for reading and my appologies for the long paragraph.

I wouldnt know about the overclocking but with the new sandybridge you need to get the 2500k or 2600k cpu's to overclock so that kind of removes the board from the picture, only thing id look at is how many phases the boards vrm has. In general though intel have made some very strong and solid boards. I have a few lga775 boards that are still kicking nicely.

No he tell the true, i got 2 intel dp45sg extreme died on me in just under 2 years, got a third one due to warranty but then i updated to Sandybridge shortly after. For overclocking, Intel's board ARE ****, cant go past 3,4 ghz with an e 7400 without the motherboard burning.
As ROCK!

I really don't know about Intel p67 boards but in the former generations Intel have not had a reputation for being good overclocking boards (they overclock, but not as high clocks as most other brands).
Your memory will work, but SB has a memory divider that goes from 1866 to 2133Mhz, so you would end up overclocking or underclocking it, underclocking you should be able to tighten up the timings a bit at least...

Pretty much every board they make is complete garbage for overclocking.

I mean, they weren't even using 100% solid state capacitors on their 'high end' (haha what a joke high end my ass) motherboards until the 1155 series and some of the overpriced 1366 ones...
