LG E2770V, 27" IPS FullHD, 400$ - Page 2

If it's anything like their other LED IPS screen, prepare to be disappointed.

I got this for my aunt, and this thing bleeds more than a hemophiliac! There's a good reason these screens are so cheap...

Well, lets just wait for Ocnewb:s review.

We should also have in mind that EXX70V is a more expensive series than the IPSXXV you link to. And it also appears like you had a bad unit based on to other reviews.

Is it? $400 for a 27" IPS is dirt cheap.

Maybe, though some of the reviews do mention the bleeding. "Noah's" review is pretty much in line with my experience. My review hasn't been posted yet

Well, lets see the monitor before complaining that it is to cheap!

Would you be more happy if it was $600?

If only it was 2560x1440, 1080p/LED is a big thumbs down from me for a 27" monitor.
I had a couple of U2711s so I know the difference.

$600 would be a little more in line with other HQ IPS panels. This one is only 1080p, and from the stats seems to be a 6 bit e-IPS screen, which would explain the price a bit... but still. U2311H retails for $319 before discounts...

Lets just wait for reviews.

And I am very happy that it cost 400 instead of 600.

14ms Response time, 120hz? Aren't these two things (somewhat) conflicting?

Is this an interpolated 120hz? It mentions "The TruMotion 120Hz technology virtually eliminates any motion blur and creates smooth transition between frames, making action-packed sports and movies look clearer and more real than ever before. " (a quick google search says "yes". that's terrible. you don't want interpolation in a monitor. maybe I'm wrong.)

Don't bash it too much . I will report back if it's a good or bad monitor.

14ms? Sweet jesus. Prepare for some hefty ghosting.

Also the 120hz is interpolated, so you'll enjoy a healthy dose of input lag aswell unless you turn truemotion off.
