The response time is actually pretty good for an IPS. The difference is that LG has presented the BTB responsetime while for instance Dell presents the GTG responsetime. The LG is 6 ms (GTG)

U2311 has 8 ms (GTG) and higher than 14 ms BTB.

So this LG actually has lower response time than U2311 and the other Dell IPS-panels which are pretty good for gaming.

Oh nice, i didn't even notice BTB n GTG. I had the U2410 before and it wasn't that bad, so if this LG actually has lower response time then it should be good.

I think so to. Hopefully it is as good as on paper. I am a little bit nervous. I really want this to be a great monitor cause it would be amazing to have a 27 inch IPS at home.

Will have my eyes on this thread for sure to read your opinion when you get it.
