High CPU temps - trouble shooting. 63C 1090T - Page 3

Just reading the amount of things you have on your loop, you have waaaay to much for the amount of rads. I have 1 240 and 1 120 on my setup but I only have the CPU and the GPU on my loop (and my CPU is barely OCed).
With a 1090t, 6990 and 6950 you should be running 2 loops. Those GPU's are dumping loads of heat into your CPU. I bet if you used the same rads but separated the loops you would get a good temp drop on your CPU

Nice. So game plan is 200mm Phobya up front. And then get a radbox and swap the 120 out for a 360.

Should be plenty of rad then!

Ok so I just installed my new GTX 360. I now have a GTX 360 with 6x 1900 RPM Kaze Scythe fans in push/pull (3 on each side.) The 2nd radiator is a GT 240 w/ 2x 1900 RPM scythe gentle typhoon.

I pulled out my 6950. So just running 6990, CPU, and motherboard.

My CPU temp at 100% load is 43C and it was 33C idle. Water temp is 31C. My GPU idle temp is 41C (2nd monitor is on.)

Does this sound better? CPU is currently at 1.45volts.

Just ran prime for about 20 minutes. It hit max of 48C and then dropped back to 47C. Water temp is 31C. Although I wonder if this is accurate as it is about 3 inches down from a T-junction in a drain tube where no water is flowing.

Are those 43ºC the real temp considering the sensor error on the X6's?

If so, pretty good

Yes, that is the socket temp. (Not the core temp!) As I noted in prime the temps got up to 47-48 on the highest heat mode. Folding doesn't seem to go above 43C and idle looks to be 33C.
