No display on Primary Card.

Now this isn't a big deal but I hate not knowing why it happens. I have GTX 570 SLIed. My primary card does as it should with SLI disabled. When I enabled SLI both cards do as they should. The problem happens after a restart or shutdown. PC boots fine but there is no display. If I plug my monitor into the 2nd 570 everything is fine. Not a big deal...as far as I know there's no issues with the monitor connecting to the second card instead but still annoying. So what's causing this?

Hi jkhol. Have you tried running the two graphics cards individually? Give that a go to see if you have any problems with either of them. Is it just the one display you have connected to the cards?

Yes I have. Update:

I switched the cards and installed an older set of drivers. That seemed to fix it. I could reboot and there were no issues. I just loaded up crysis and seconds in I had no display. I plugged my monitor into the bottom card and it worked perfectly. But if I reboot/shutdown with my monitor connected to the bottom card I get no display on start up even if I switch connection to top card. So same results with each card on top/bottom PCIe slot. SLI disabled I have no problems with primary card. SLI enabled works fine before reboot/shudown. After reboot/shutdown only primary card displays bios/welcome screen and only secondary card displays desktop.
