Choosing between Asrock p67 pro or pro3

Hey i have decided to choose between gettin either a Asrock p67 pro or pro3 i'd just like to know if my current ram Kingston hyperx cl9 4 gig ddr3 2000mhz kit (with big blue heat coolers) will work with either motherboard and i have read up on both the motherboards and cannot find the differences. I'd like to know if it'd be worth gettin the pro3 or should i just stick to the pro?

Uhm, Asrock has models called P67 extreme4 and extreme6....not pro and pro3. To the best of my knowledge.

But the extreme4 is debatably the best value out there for p67.

They do have Pro and Pro3.

I went with the Pro 3 and It's excellent considering the price.
not sure about the Pro but Pro3 does support 2000Mhz ram.

Edit: I had a look at both boards, they will both support your ram.

If you plan on overclocking a little bit you'd be better off with the pro3 over the pro.
as far as I can see the Pro3 looks like it has better VRM heatsinks, I could be wrong though.
also the pro3 has a Clr cmos button incase of a bad overclock.

yea the pro 3 seems the way to go, as i just noticed the pro doesn't have usb 3.0 which is a big no no for me haha but yea for $20 extra i think i might just go with the pro 3 thanks for the response!

Techspot's latest article/mobo roundup (http://www.techspot.com/review/380-intel-p67-motherboard-roundup/) shows that most P67 boards are basically equal in gaming/multi-tasking.

Choose the brand your comfortable with (for me its Asus) and the board with the features you want. (7.1 HD audio and Triple SLi ftw biggrin.gif imo). If they make such a beast.
