Can not make up mind. need new PSU/Case/Mobo

Thread Starter
My mobo sucks. Limits my OC like mad. Mosfets overheat like crazy. (even with top 140mm fan blowing air over the copper heatsinks)
PSU sucks.... im getting 11.35-11.6v on the 12v, and during heavy(heavyyyy) OC on CPU and GPU my system will turn off, and ill have to flip the switch on the PSU to reboot....

Also my case is insane small for my loop... looking for something that can contain my rad + another single 140mm rad soon. im using a radbox for now, which is fine, but hopefully a bigger case in the future....

What im looking for is a great AM3 mobo with future BD support. I like the Crosshair Formula IV, but iv been told Price/Performance is not quite worth it. i need something that stays cool. 890fx or gx is a must. I love Asus, but am open to anything but MSI. Price to Performance is key... would like to spend between 100-200$. Would love it if EK or DD had a WB for it as well. (full wb)

as for the PSU im looking for something that will take a heavily OCd 1090t a long with my 4 hdds, pump, and CF 6970s. Since everything's on water, i dont want my PSU to limit what i can do.

As for the case, i want something Under 150$ if possible.... WC friendly would be great, and something with great cable management.... i can mod if needed, but prefer not to. side window a must.

Thanks for your help, as always.

httpIm really fond of these Bitfenix cases

They seem to be the real deal.

PSU

solid choice,.

motherboard

I have this motherboard, it took my 955 to 4.0ghz easy, but I didn't bother working on getting it stable so it's not like that matters but still. It's an awesome motherboard.

Does it have to be a 140mm fan?

That's gonna be kinda hard to find

I'd bump that OCZ to an XFX 850W unit like the one I've got. smile.gif Check this guy's unboxing thread if you'd like details.

I'd also vote for the Asus mobo The Master Chief mentioned.

I vote for the Phantom !

It's not just the looks. The insides are awesome too. And not too expensive.

And regarding the PSU, I'd say a XFX 750W/850W Black Edition. Perhaps a modular one. It's got better reviews than many Corsair PSU's, actually.
