I remember my buddy going to get a new PC a few years ago.

Not knowing anything about computers, he buys a machine from them (an HP I think) and asks about the graphics card.

BB Employee: Oh, you're going to need to get an updated one, as it only has integrated graphics.

Fair enough, he thought.

So the lady shows him to a PNY Geforce 9400 and says that

"It'll max out Crysis, no problem."

He takes it home gleefully, plugs it in and plays Crysis.

Turns out, the PSU didn't have enough juice, so the whole card overheated and was permanently fried.

Best Buy for computers, we all know stinks most of the time. But for video games and cell phones, Best Buy does it pretty well. I don't even bother going to Game Stop anymore. Best Buy 9/10 will have the same stuff at the same price. And their sales tend to be a lot better than Game Stop. I hate when Game Stop emails me their deals, "10 bucks off this game!" and I'm just like "Wow, Best Buy has that game already priced that low regularly." Plus I get so much more money for my game trade ins, it's ridiculous. I got a dollar or more for most of my games dating back to 07. Non of that 26 cents bull crap. I suggest people to try Best Buy instead of Game Stop for gaming needs for a change, especially if you trade games in a lot.

I would love to do something like this the only problem is that I'm pretty sure BB wouldn't even be able to match 50% of my current salary for 40 hr work weeks. Maybe If I wante d apart time job...but I don't.

Wait... How are those $30 at release week for customers? Or do you mean for employees?

Oh, I forgot to mentioned, check out the Gamer mag Best Buy has at front lanes, check in the middle for coupons. The first week Red Dead Redemption was out, there was a 20$ coupon and recently I found I believe it was a 20$ coupon for RIFT.

Does this mean we will start seeing gold plated DVD's in the game boxes so Best Buy can charge $400.00 for it like they do on cables? All while some dude in a white shirt and black tie tried to convince some poor unknowing sod that the gold plating is necessary and that $400.00 is a great value becasue it will install faster/look better/increase e-peen.

You mean you DON'T want the $100 5 year extended on your $30 game?
