Does 9500 even support Physx? Why the hell do people go around using ****ty lower end cards for physx with their higher end cards? The higher
end card you use the better Physx card you
need in order to keep up with it. And rule number 2, the better the physx card more your system will gain on a Physx enabled game.
A 9500GT with a GTX480 or HD5850 will slow it down, Minimum for that card will be a GTX260. If you are using a GTX460 then minimum physx card is 9800GTX.. I have used my GTX460 with a 260 for Physx and later the 460 with my SLI 480's.

Also why would that cause it to crash
If you are not an nVidia person why even bother with Physx? there are many woe's of a hybrid setup... do some serious research on Physx before you waste your time with a 9500GT for Physx and a hybrid setup that gives you a bottleneck.
Do it right or dont do it at all..
