Help on my First Build | Use: Photoshop & HD Video Editing

Hi everyone.
First-time builder here looking for suggestions. Money isn't that much an issue, but I want to make sure I'm not putting extra money on parts that can be allocated elsewhere.

I will be using it for web surfing, Photoshop editing, HD video editing, and streaming movies to my PS3, and I don't want to need to upgrade for another 2-3 years (although I might get the itch to upgrade SOME parts...).

List of what I've purchased to so far

Monitor: Dell U2311h - $239.99
RAM: 16GB--2 x G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM - $175.98

List of what I'm considering

CPU:
Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) - $284.99
MOBO:
ASUS P8P67 DELUXE (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard - $239.99
PS:
CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V v2.2 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC - $124.99 - $15 MIR = $109.99
CASE:
COOLER MASTER HAF 932 Advanced RC-932-KKN5-GP Black Steel ATX Full Tower Compucase Case with USB 3.0 - $149.99
Video Card:
EVGA 012-P3-1571-KR GeForce GTX 570 HD - $336.49 - $40 MIR = $296.49
BD-Writer:
LG Black Super Multi SATA WH12LS30 LightScribe Support - $99.99
Hard Drive:
RAID 0 on 2 x Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM - $199.98

Plus:
ARCTIC COOLING MX-2 Thermal Compound - $9.99
COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 - $29.99

Potential GRAND TOTAL: $1837.37

Any suggestions or approval of what I got is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

hi,

sounds good to me, quite coherent.

if you have free space on your desktop, i'd match another screen & i'd get a screen calibration probe. if you've got the cash, you might be willing some ssd for the system & programs.

i use photoshop & Premiere CS5 a lot with my sig's config. remember to activate your graphic card in the .txt file of premiere...

some might give your further advice on brands decision though.

You will definitely want to stick with the i7 2600k. Everything looks good.

Side Note: I don't understand people's love for massive cases...

Lol. Well I have decided to go with Antec 900. I guess I don't need that much space...it's on sale on newegg right now for 104.99 plus an additional $20 mail-in rebate.
