Q6600, Gigabyte P35-S3G Cant overclock tryed every way

HIGH POWER 650w
4GB DDR2 1066 MHZKIT(2x2GB) REAPER CL5 OCZ
VTX HD6950 2GB 256bit (I will overclock it too but there is a bottleneck problem in my system)
Sunbeam Tunic Tower 120 extreme cooler
My temps are at load 48-49c at normal 38-39c. I cant do any overclock on my system cant change nothing if i do its resetting and default bios setting.

Also i did memtest86 and no error. is there anything like motherboard locked agains overclocks? or my rams? I have tryed many settings and all same resetting at Motherboard screen and reopening with default fsb settings. Give me some advice im ready to try really want to do some overclock on my system

I looked that topic too i looked many forums but the thing is my mobo p35-s3g overclockers mostly using p35-ds3l i cant do anychanges i tryed many values same result Resetting and Defaulting

i cant do even 2.6 its still resetting i did 733mhz rams and 2.60ghz processor , 290fsb. I have tryed that values with voltage and without voltage and small voltages but at everyway same thing its resetting and reopening with default fsb settings but no chances at voltages. There is nothing like that at guides.So im thinking about a problem with my mobo

The P35-S3G was the most tempermental motherboard I had. Personally, I'd try to ditch it for a different board. The DS3L never gave me as much issues with overclocking and definitely never rebooted at the slightest BIOS change

But there should be some way to oc its so low 2.4ghz at thesee days and i spend my all money for hd6950and new power and new cooler:/

Can't Overclock On A Gigabyte P35-S3G
You must clear the CMOS. Gigabyte boards have this bad habit. (Mine too, but I fixed it)

Unplug the computer from the wall. Take out the battery or touch the reset jumpers for a minute at least.

Then, go into bios and load optimized settings, then boot into windows and shut down cleanly.

From then on, you should be able to OC.

Guy with same board and same problems! Only thing that worked for him was to use the F3a bios! http://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/63...te-ga-p35-s3g/
