GTX470 SLI in game flickering?

Thread Starter
Ive tried playing Just Cause 2 in SLI mode and it really is unplayable the screen flickers so much?

Does it matter how big the bridge is I have a large bridge that came with my motherboard that bends upwards and back down? is that a problem.

I have Vsync forced on.

It could be a lack of power from the PSU. Which 650W power supply do you have? What's the brand and model?

According to Guru3D.com, here are some indicators that the PSU is having trouble coping with the load:
  • bad 3D performance
  • crashing games
  • spontaneous reset or imminent shutdown of the PC
  • freezing during gameplay
  • PSU overload can cause it to break down

Does it happen in other games? I'm not sure if I'm remembering correctly, but I think Just Cause 2 might have some kind of SLI issue similar to Crysis 2.

This is not a PSU problem.
This is a complete driver issue.

Which drivers are you using?
I have the same thing on some games with the 270.51 beta drivers.
Try go back to earlier drivers or do a clean reinstall of the WHQL drivers.

Yeah, I'm not saying it's a PSU issue anymore.

As in "it", do you the psu? If so, then its very possible you got a faulty PSU. I'd return it and get a smaller name brand PSU if I were you.

Counter-Strike: Source is the only other game ive tested with SLI as there basically the only games I have installed right now. other games do not support SLI.

When I plug my monitor into the bottom card theres no gaphical issues untill I start up an SLI enabled game.
