Highish temps, but not that high. That's actually lower than my temps at load under a Prolimatech Megahalems.

Wouldn't worry about it, but you can try to reseat the heatsink and such.

So, everything is pointing to the cooler and perhaps bad-mount of the block/pump

I will try again mounting and checking the cooler...

Yeah there's definitely a heat transfer issue somewhere.
I get lower temps at 4.5 ghz on air (Venemous-X) and 1.238v full load vcore...and your vcore is over 0.1v lower...

Agree. Running at 4.4 GHz at 1.285 V, I get significantly lower temps with a heatsink that has scored just below the H70 in every comparison I've seen. His temps are oddly high.
