Up the FSB to 400
Increase the Multiplier to 9 *which it already is*
Set voltage to around 1.5v CPUz
Increase FSB by by 4-5 notches
up VTT (or CPU termination) by 2-3 notches
Increase PLL by 1 notch
Run memory in 400 latch on 2.00D to give you a 1:1 ratio

I think that should do it. But the P35 chipsets suck...

Run prime 95 in small FTT mode for at least 2 hours and run 25 runs of Intel Burn Test with as much memory as your system will allow.

Also you got a REALLY nice Q6600 with a nice low vid as well. Seriously you should consider getting a GA-EP45-UD3P board and bring out the full potential in that chip.

I second this.

My vid is 1.325, and i could get my Q6600 to 3.6 on 1.44v with no llc. Temps top out at ~65c on IBT.

My ambient temps are really high too 28+c.

The EP45 series is really kickass, when i moved to this after abandoning the P5NE-SLI my OC headroom exploded.

EDIT: Regarding temps and the confusion with tjmax.

For clarity - my tjmax is set at 90c in realtemp, so under load - distance to tjmax bottoms out at ~25c.

This should give an approx tcase of 60~c, with intel max tcase being 71c for the Q6600.

in RealTemp and coreTemp set the TjMax to 90C or you get skewed temp readings.

Cant remember the article, but for G0 stepping intel released tjtarget/max(?) figures of 90c.

The reading to really keep an eye on is distance to tjmax, cos thats the only "accurate" reading. Every other reading is either a derivative of distance to tjmax or some onboard sensor which would need calibration and/or be compatible with software.

For G0, intel states that the thermal max is tcase@71c, which approximates to 76c@core or a minimum distance to tjmax in realtemp of ~15c assuming tjmax at 90c.

Excellent guide here from the original author computronix on tomshardware

Where can I set the VTT? Refer to the first post for pictures of the bios!

Really confused on these:

"Increase FSB by by 4-5 notches
up VTT (or CPU termination) by 2-3 notches
Increase PLL by 1 notch
Run memory in 400 latch on 2.00D to give you a 1:1 ratio"

Thanks guys! After about 8 hours of straight Prime95 stressing these are the temperatures and results! zero errors!

Also the Gigabyte Mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128358 is pretty much sold out everywhere lol

I'm going to try going up to 3.2ghz and will report results!

Also to clarify! This is all done at 1.32500V! (I posted 1.35 I believe so this is even better!)

Now trying 1422 FSB in Bios for 3.2Ghz Testings!

at 1.35v failed to log on to windows

1.375v....
1.400v....
1.425v....
1.450v....
1.500v.... failed!? *** why!?
1.525v.... what am I doing wrong?
1.550v.... still no... why?
