I'm by no means new to overclocking having begun with a AMD Athlon 3000+ (Socket 754), moved on to a Core2Duo and now an i5 760 and a variety of mid-range graphics cards. One thing I have never overclocked is RAM, cause well I've never bought RAM that is even vaguely overclockable (just bog-standard naked chips) and now I thought I would. Going from 1333 CL9 to 1600 CL7 was quite a big performance jump though.
These are 2x2GB DDR3-1600 CL7 7-8-7-20.
So what should I go about doing? Raising clocks? Raising voltages? Timings? And how do I make this a safe process, because I mean processors and graphics cards have temperatures to watch whereas RAM does not...
