Apparently they make quite the difference in cooling performance, at the cost of a little bit more noise.
yep. even on low the cooling is better than the other two cases, not much of a difference unless it's on high though.

from another topic i psted in

idle temps:

i'll post some load temps later.

just tabbed out of battlefield BC2.

this was with two 6870's OC to 1000/1125 1.26v, 34% fan speed.

my 6950 idled at 33 with 37%fan speed on one monitor, now it idles from 39 to 40 because the memory runs full speed in eyefinity.

I also know that the NZXT Phantom is up there but I've seen posts regarding the Noctua NH-D14 heatsink touching one of the top fans in the case. I also really like the look of the Corsair 650D but apparently the air cooling is bad so I take that back. Anyways, getting a bit off track here, what is the best air cooling case?

Thanks for the help in advanced!
the Nh-d14 fits well in my Phantom i doesnt touche the fan at the top unless they modified it its tight dont get me wrong but it fits i moved the fan over so now i got lots of room tho
