I wouldn't buy anything less than a gig. I'm running 1680x1050 and I find a gig too small for games like Civ 5, and GTA IV. With my 5770 I got 19fps playing Crysis, Very High 2xAA.

So because your FPS is low, it's automatically the VRAM's fault? Ah, it all makes so much sense now.

The psu is more important than a video card.Get a good quality unit for 50 bucks or more and then think about getting a graphics card.Apex psu's are garbage.You can't run a 150.00 gpu on a 20.00 psu.

GTX 460 768Mb is going to be discontinued...how long no one really knows except nVidia.If you want the best deal at that price range right now is the Sapphire 5850 Extreme,which is a new card(they just went out of stock at the egg)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102932
Blows the 460 768Mb out of the water.Also the 6790 matches the 460 768Mb for a couple dollars more,so if you can't get the nVidia card this will be the $150 price mark leader(besides the 5850).And yes that PSU is bad.You need a decent 450-500w like Antec's or XFX's.

Nah, there's no way you can add power to your PSU

A decent 500W doesn't cost much.
Since when does SLI work on ATi cards?

@OP:

I think a good brand 550-600w PSU would do fine for you, depending on the rest of your rig's specs. By good brand I mean Corsair, some of the newer coolermasters, Antec (I think?).

Be prepared to cough up for your PSU though, good ones are expensive and you should never go cheap with PSUs, if it breaks it can take your system with it

EDIT: Oh and go for the 460

I have the ASUS GTX460 768Mb and I play @ 1920X1080. Core is OC to 870 and I play BF:BC2 at highest settings and 60-70FPS. Also here lately I've been playing Crysis Warhead @ gamer settings, Bioshock 1&2 highest settings, Fallout 3, FNV, RIFT and a lot of other games at highest or near highest settings with no problems.

well if you can do that evilnok at your resolution than the 5770 should be great for me. Can someone help me out and link a 400W psu (should be fine as long as its good) from newegg that is cheap, but a good brand nonetheless?
