Whats the point of having a fully destructible level...

I loved red factions terrain destruction. Sometimes me and a friend would just burrow into the rock until the game didn't allow us to make any more holes. So much fun.

This demo sucked. Same cheap techniques that have been used since Half Life 2.

Shoot an actor, it disappears and spawns a bunch of little premade physics meshes in the same position.

The next step in refining gaming physics is procedural destruction, as has been seen in some of the more advanced tech demos.

great concept. i love how there are no more indestructible trees anymore lol.

would be nice if some of the rubble would actually stay on the map creating difficulty for the player to progress or it could be used to create cover.

or blow a pillar away and get an epic killing spree

Looks sorta good, bad thing that nobody will make games with this in mind anyways.

And considering engines like FB2.

It will be a success if this gets implemented in half of the games that got physx in them.
