Glad to hear I picked a good motherboard
Thanks for the advice on the cooler too. Everyone seems to be saying the 212+ is nice so I will jump on that as well.

Thanks again for the help guys!

EDIT: the power supply was only 80 after mail in rebate
Microcenter should sell the Corsair Vengeance kits. That's where I got mine. They were actually cheaper than Newegg at the time. Just checked and they have plenty at my store. They even have the sexy new blue ones.

If MC doesn't have the motherboard you want, they should carry these:
- MSI P67A-GD65-B3
- ASUS P8P67 Pro-R3
- Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4-B3

What model was the power supply though? Look at this: http://www.overclock.net/power-suppl...take-psus.html

Honestly, a high quality 650W would be good enough for 570 SLI.

ahh, good call. The latencies all seem to be 9 there, but the ram speeds go up to like 2000. I think i can get it for around the same price as my "junk ram".

any ideas on the mobo? microcenter in jersey had no asrock products

One of these if you plan on SLI in the future:
- Corsair 750TXV2 750W (better than GS)
- Antec TruePower New 750W
- Antec High Current Gamer Series HCG-750 750W
- Corsair GS800 800W (budget)

Single 570 on a quality 550-650W PSU would do. May be able to swing 570 SLI on a quality 650W PSU.
